These wonderful hand crocheted drawstring satchels are made by the Durham-San Ramon Sister Communities in Nicaragua. Our representative, Sylvia O'Connor, of Raleigh, NC, goes to Nicaragua twice a year to teach the local women and girls a craft such as these First Communion Satchels.  All proceedes go directly to San Ramon in an effort to help them further help themselves.

The sachels measure 5.5" x 6" and are useful also as an evening bag for adults!
